Innovative Teaching and Online Course Development in HKU SPACE (10 March 2017)

Our first pedagogical E-learning training was conducted at ADC Learning Centre on 10 March 2017. In the first part of this training session, Dr Sylvia Hon of HKU SPACE Community College shared her valuable teaching practices of blended learning and enlightened the participants on how to employ the flipped classroom to bring about an efficient and effective use of class time. Besides Dr Hon, two of her students also shared their views on the integration of blended learning in their course. A total of 45 colleagues and teachers joined this training session. In the second part, the E-learning Team explained the workflow and provided tips on the development of online courses and learning activities. The session ended with a fruitful discussion among participants on the effective use of online learning pedagogy.
