We are pleased to announce that our MOOC (Massive Open Online Course), titled Buddhism: Diamond Sutra and Zen Meditation was launched on FutureLearn* on 28 October 2019. This is a six-week FREE online course providing interpretation of the meaning of prajñā-pāramitā in relation to attaining Buddhahood. Learners explore and discuss the question ‘How can we resolve afflictions?‘
Dr Cheung Siu Nang Bruce (XuanjueAcarya) examines this question with reference to the perfection of wisdom mentioned in the Diamond Sutra.
Highlights of the course:
- Why prajñā-pāramitā, (the attainment of great wisdom) is as hard and as sharp as vájra and is capable of cutting through our adamantine egos.
- How we can shatter the adamantine ago and lead an empowered life.
- Video animations help learners understand the course content and underlying meanings.
The new intake will commerce on 13 July 2020.
Join us to discover these secrets from the Diamond Sutra.
